SUMMARY:OSCE meetup: Building a Platform for Open Science in Machine Learning
DESCRIPTION:OpenML is a platform that democratizes machine learning by facilitating open science in machine learning research. While the platform is founded in the Netherlands and hosted in Eindhoven\, its development is an international effort of voluntary contributors. In this talk Pieter will give a brief introduction to OpenML but also share his experience as a long-time contributor to the platform\, answering questions such as “How does OpenML organize itself?” or “How can you combine contributions with doing research?”.
